Voicemail, File Transfer and Music Status added for GTalk

A new updated version for Google Talk have just been released including new Voicemail feature, File Transfer and Music Status to make Gtalk more complete and always small and powerful. With the new Voicemail feature if a friend isn't around to answer your call, now you can leave a voicemail. You can even leave voicemail messages for your friends who don't use Google Talk--they'll receive an email with the message attached as an audio file.

The File Transfer is certainly the top requested feature which allow you to send unlimited files and folders to your friends through Google Talk. There is no restriction on the file type or size and the peer-to-peer transfer is fast and reliable. I find it really great when everytime i wanted to send a file i have to use email or go to msn, now you can have more freedom to do everything from Gmail and sinceraly for just 1.23MB Google Talk have certainly succeeded making a powerful messenger.

Listening to music while on Google Talk? Now you can let your friends see what you're listening to by selecting "Show current music track" in your status menu. Your status message will change when your song does! Personaly I'm not a real fun, but I know many friends who will certainly love this feature.

I think GTalk with this release have another time succeeded providing great and useful feature, in the same time of keeping their messenger small and powerful. It's really small compared to all the features that it provide, and remember that Gtalk was provided in the beginning especially for the voice and telephony feature, now it's a very complete messenger solution and I'm sure that in the future it will be liked with other Google service like the way it is done currently with Gmail.
